Supporting you to navigate the haze and develop emotional wisdom
There's a saying that goes, "The harder you push, the more stuck you become." And it's true. The things we resist, and either put to the back of our mind or try to pretend aren't there, will continue to show up until we properly address what's happening and why. Whether it's those recurring negative thoughts that have you spiralling until 3am, the self-sabotaging behaviours that you can't seem to quit, or the constant battle you have trying to prevent yourself from lashing out at your partner over small things - until you give yourself the grace and space to unpack these things, they'll keep persisting. This is where I come in.
Offering an authentic, evidence-based approach, I'm here to help you to explore and understand those internal challenges that you're facing (and possibly resisting). Navigating the haze together, we'll develop your emotional wisdom, giving your mind the healing and clarity it needs to move forward.

Tailored person-centred counselling
As someone with a lived experience of ADHD, I'm deeply aware of the way our minds think and respond in different ways to different things. This awareness extends into my counselling.
When working with you I take a psychodynamic, person-centred approach. I'll first seek to genuinely understand who you are and how your mind works, then I'll tailor my approach in a way I feel will be most effective for YOU.

Helping you gain clarity & self-connection
While our presenting issues may be different, often what's happening beneath the surface all leads back to an internal conflict of some kind. As your counsellor, I'm here to help you understand and unpack what that conflict is.
Utilising a range of evidence-based modalities including, Emotion-Focussed Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Imagery Rescripting Therapy, I'll work with you to help you process your emotions, so you can gain the clarity and self-connection needed to prevent the issues from recurring.

Supporting a wide range of challenges
Having worked in the industry for over a decade, I have supported clients facing a wide range of difficulties, from anxiety and depression, to trauma and grief.
In particular, my one-on-one counselling can help those who are:

Individual Counselling Session Rates
My one on one counselling sessions are available online, or in person at my clinic in Subiaco. The rates are per hour per session and are as follows:
CONCESSION (STUDENTS OR SENIORS) - $120
INDIVIDUAL STANDARD SESSION - $170
INDIVIDUAL AFTER HOURS SESSION (AFTER 5PM OR WEEKENDS) - $190

Having struggled for years with health anxiety and poor coping strategies, developed over the course of my life, I've found my sessions with Steph to be very helpful. She has provided tools and strategies to help me better recognise my negative thought patterns and implement more appropriate responses to lower my hypersensitivity.
I've been able to break a lot of the negative thinking I was so accustomed to and I am learning more productive ways to acknowledge and deal with the everyday stressors of life. When I first started having sessions, my wife even noticed a difference in my demeanour, commenting that I appeared "lighter" when I returned from a session. I certainly feel lighter, having been able to let go of many of the unproductive thoughts and coping mechanisms I had been in a habit of following.
